  1. Thanks, @dan sch I went for it, and it turned out great. The kind of property I bought for about 115k goes for much higher already. The market is buoyant (probably too much so).
  2. Hi everyone! Quality podcast this morning. Surprised to hear Glasgow is similarly overheated as Edinburgh, but looking at prices on Rightmove, I believe that. 3. Thanks, Rob, and also can't wait to hear the Scotland episode! James
  4. I am looking at my first deal ever. It's a modern "luxury" flat on the 6th floor, nice view, 1 bedroom. Location: Glasgow Harbour Home Report price: 120,000 My (potential) offer: 115,000 I am a little bit worried about the area. I think my question is, does the property have a chance for capital appreciation do
  5. Hi everyone, I'm James Lam, long time lurker. Currently based in London, and I'm looking at deals in Scotland (Glasgow specifically, due to promising BTL returns). I'm not very young anymore :), but maybe a little bit unusually, this is my first foray into property! I'll be looking for guidance on this forum, and I'll do my best to pay forward as I gather skills and experience. Thanks, James
