  1. Hi Rob I would seek further advice. However, I believe that when you have agreed a price with a seller, that they should sign the contract (I can't remember the contract name). Within the contract, it should state that the seller must not agree to sell the property to anyone else for an agreed time frame. It should of course also state that they must sell at the agreed price. In the case of an Estate Agent involved, I believe that there should be some sort of deal (After agreeing a price) that the Estate Agent should remove the property from all online portals (Rightmov
  2. Hi everyone I'm currently getting my deal packaging business started. Should I be looking to get a list of investors before I search for the deals or should I find the deals first to then attract the investors? I have read that I should build my investors list first and then find the deals. However, I have also been told that serious investors (which is who I want to attract) will want to see previous deals and trading I have done before they work with me. Any advice on which I should approach first, investors or sellers? Thanks
  3. Hi Richard. Thank you for taking the time to reply and help me out. This advice was very helpful, I have made up my list of possible areas and am now going to go through the process of researching each area. I have followed your advice and it has helped me to at least start looking somewhere. I will continue to follow your advice and hopefully it also works well for me. Thanks again. Adam
  4. Hi everyone. I'm just looking for some advice/guidance on finding my investment goldmine area. I would just like to know what method(s) I should use for deciding on the best investment area for me. I feel semi-confident about assessing an area but where do I even begin looking? Thanks in advance. Adam
  5. Hi everyone. I am keen to get started in my investing career. Before I begin purchasing investments for myself, I am aiming to source deals for other investors. I would like to know more about property sourcing as I am very much a beginner. A few things I would like to know include: - What information should I gather from potential investors? i.e. areas they are interested in, types of houses/flats, number of bedrooms, strategy. - What do I need to budget for? - How to avoid being cut out as the middle man when the investment opportunit
  6. Hi everyone I am looking for advice on how to finance my first investment property. At the moment, I am time rich but do not have the cash required for a standard deposit. I understand many people use JV deals to invest in property. However, since I have no experience as of yet in investing, if someone wants to put their cash into a JV they will want their partner to bring the skill set which I cannot. I also do not have any family members or friends who have the money to invest. It makes me wonder how people without the experience or cash can form a partnership with someone who ha
  7. Hi everyone. I'm an 18 year old from Glasgow aspiring to become a successful property investor and trader. My focus for some time was to save up enough money from my full time job to begin a JV with an investor with slightly more experience than myself to 'flip' a property. This was intended to be my first project. However, I've recently come across 'Wholesaling'. I'm looking for advice and some knowledge on how the wholesaling process works here in the UK. I believe wholesaling to be (in the basic form) the process of identifying a good property investment opport
