Profile Information

  • Location
    West Sussex
  • Property investment interests
I am a chartered surveyor that has worked across most property sectors, but my main interest has always been residential. On leaving university I joined the property consultant Savills before joining ING Real Estate to help set up their first UK Residential Investment Fund in 1996, which grew from zero to £100million over a 5 year period.

I have a personal investment property in the French Alps and am now looking to start building a portfolio in the UK.
  • My skills
General property investment and development but have had specific experience in residential, offices, hotels & serviced apartments, exhibition halls and supporting F&B and retail.
  • My goals
My key objective is, by April 2025, to have a property investment portfolio that produces enough automated income to secure my family's long-term financial future and provides me with the flexibility to be located wherever my wife and I want.
  • Interests outside property
Any outdoor sport but particularly rugby, skiing, triathlon and kite boarding. Travelling, reading and music.

I am looking for a decent conveyancing solicitor to handle a purchase of a property, preferably located in the Surrey, Hants or West Sussex area, as that is is the area I live. Does anyone have any recommendations? Many thanks in advance Chris
  4. Hi Everyone, I'm Chris, and I've recently returned from Dubai, where I was head of property investment and development at Dubai World Trade Centre, one of the government related organisations. During this time I led team responsible for the real estate elements of Dubai's successful bid to host the World Expo in 2020. I have done many investments and developments over my career working for other people and decided that on returning to the UK I would start to do it on my own. I'm a chartered surveyor and have done investment and development work in most property sectors but have al
