  1. Hello Everyone, I always wanted to start property investment. Never had the time from a busy work schedule ( i know it's an excuse) and the cash ( the real challenge). However I may just have become lucky. My house is ready to give me an equity of 175k within 2years and instead of upgrading of my family home I am thinking to start my property investment portfolio.   2. Kris and Jason, It was very interesting to read your posts. I would jump in and share my situation. I live in a good area within Maidenhead. The town is now getting plenty of attention due to crossrail. If I remortgage my house today i can release about 150-170k. I work in london and always wanted to have one investment flat in London for my daughter who just started school.   3. Hi Pete, Welcome onboard. I am new on this site myself. I know the Bromley area a bit. Good schools and connectivity. I am also in a similar situation like yourself. I am about to remortgage my current house and looking to invest in new property/properties. In a dilemma if I should buy in London area one property or more than one up North.
