  1. Hi guys. I'm currently abroad for the next couple of months and was looking at ways of continuing my investing to ensure that I don't slow things down. I was wondering if anybody had any top tips for viewing properties whilst being abroad? Stuff such as hiring people on online leveraging sites or using family/friends etc.? thanks a lot. Andrew
  2. Thanks for the replies guys. I can see planning be the main issue. I'm potentially looking at large houses in London as there is a shortage of affordable housing in London so splitting these up into 1-2 bed flats seems like a good way of helping people out and creating more homes within people's reach. I guess having other similar properties on the road which have been converted is a good indicator with regards to planning permission?
  3. There's a lot of excitement and information regarding commercial to residential conversions. I'm looking at potentially getting into this but am also thinking of looking into developing large (4+ bedroom) houses into flats. Does anybody have any experience of this and what are the key things to look out for? Thanks, Andrew

  5. Apologies if this has already been covered. I was was wondering if anybody had done any of the year long coaching/mentoing/mastermind courses by any of the big providers? I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts and opinions as although they appear to get positive results they do some like a lot of money to be putting down which could potentially be used elsewhere.
  6. Not at the moment. Been looking at NN1 as seems I could get a 2 bed terrace for approx £120k that would rent for around £695pcm. I'm also looking at Kettering as it seems the prices there are slightly more favorable. What areas are your properties in and where would you recommend? Thanks, Andrew
  7. Max, Paul, We've just added our 8th member and are going to limit it at that I'm afraid. Please feel free to utilise this post in order to create your own post as there's already you to plus HS001 something who are interested so you'd only need a couple more to get your group going. Good luck!
  8. Good stuff Sanita. I'm sure we'll find a way to get around it. Hopefully we'll be able to get 6 people in the group. If you have the details of the people you'd previously mentioned it too please let them know. Thanks
  9. Hi Will, Yes I've been investing in Manchester for the last few years. I like it and the properties are doing well but I'm looking to get some properties a bit closer to London. As a result I'm thinking of investing in Kettering or Wellingborough and in particular HMOs if can. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Hi William, Are you still investing at all? Thanks, Andrew
  11. Hi Jac, Any update on your investing? I'm looking into Northampton. Thanks
  12. Hi guys, I'm trying to step up my property journey and have just re-listened to episode 88 of The Property Podcast about mastermind groups. I think I'd ideally like it to be a monthly meetup (most likely over skype) alongside a Facebook group where we can bounce ideas off each other. This should also mean that it doesn't matter where people are located/investing. Hopefully it will be a place where we can help each other to achieve our goals whilst also benefiting from other people's knowledge and experience. If you're interested please let me know and hopefully we can get something sorted. Cheers, Andrew
  13. @tonks1984 Investing in Manchester, London and hopefully somewhere in between the two.
