  3. Hi, Has anyone setup a limited company recently for the purpose of purchasing new BTL properties? For me the accountants I have spoken to have advise setting up an ltd to be more tax efficient but they have also advised checking with lenders on what their criteria would be in terms of how the company is structured etc. I've done some investigating with lenders too and so far have found out the following critieria would be needed: 1. 4. Hi, I am currently working on getting my first property to market which will be a buy to let operated through my Ltd company. I am trying to figure out what to do with furniture for the property but in order to do that I want to have a basic understanding of how furniture costs are treated when you are operating via a company (I know Wear and Tear Allowance is currently available for private landlords and going away next year and have done some digging through the property manuals of the HMRC but have been unable to confirm what the situation is for limited companies). Thanks in advanc
  5. Hi guys, I just wanted to ask a question regarding property investment companies that offer, usually BMV, properties for investment some examples would be Sequre, Surrenden invest and ERE property. Is it a good idea to purchase buy to let properties from companies like this? they usually have deals negotiated with developers and they look like decent deals... I was wondering if anyone has any experience with companies like this and if they would recommend them? Thanks all
