  4. Hi Guys Been following the podcast for a little while now, also have the 100 Property Investment Tips book - it's about time I joined the conversation! I work as a student & HMO letting agent in Nottinghamshire - currently I'm not investing but plan to do so in the near future. With experience in dealing with students, HMO properties, property management, property sourcing and rent to rent options; it would be great to provide any help I can to investors so we may share, learn and grow as a team! I aim to be an active investor in the East Midlands within the next 18 months

Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. Thanks to Rob for a really interesting site and the introduction. Martin
  6. Hi everyone, My name is Paul and I am a freelance graphic designer based in Mansfield. My dad and I have managed to save up some money and we're considering doing a buy to let. I have a mortgage on my home and my income is tiny (due to early stages of freelance start up). I'm hoping to land a property near where I live so I can manage it myself. My research appears to be steering me in the direction of Nottingham. More than likely I will be going in at the lower end of the market and I was wondering what types of people are best to rent to within the Nottingham area (students, dss, profess

  8. Hi! I am new to property investment. My experience is (a) owning my residential property and ( reading Rob's books and listening to 40+ episodes of the Property Geek Podcast. My research has been pretty encouraging and inspiring so I am thinking to take the plunge into investment later this year. I am currently looking at Nottingham and I thought I might try and get more involved in the property community and ask for some (very general) advice. I have some reservations about the following points: 1) Nottingham has not shown strong capital growth recently. Although I was mai
  9. Hi All, I have decided to host a meet up for the East Midlands. It’s not really in conjunction with Rob and Rob so don’t get too excited! But I have only advertised this on the property hub so we will be off to a flying start as we will all be property hub people! Open invite for all, Meeting at The Clock Warehouse (It's a pub) Shardlow, Derby, Derbyshire, DE72 2GL 7:30 – 10:00pm Thursday 25th June Drop a message on this Forum if you can make it. Tha
  10. Hi Everyone, I'm Mani from Leicester. Daddy to a 5 year old tiger boy (was a Lion, then shark, now tiger) and 2.5 year old completely bonkers nutcase love of my life daughter. My wife and I are accidental Landlords, plan in place to put that straight and turn that property into a proper investment, hopefully soon. I came across the Property Podcast two weeks ago and have listened to all 115 episodes, finishing the last one just now (switching to x1.3 speed helped!). Rob and Rob have been accompanying me through commutes (of course!), mowing the lawn, taking stuff to the tip (the sa
