  1. Dear Hubbers, Firstly. we have to give huge thanks to Robs for the quality content, which they put out on the property hub podcast. Thank you thank you so much. The podcast really inspired me. However, I have got a lot of huddles to begin my property journey. I would really appreciate if any of you could help answer our questions regarding re-mortgage an overseas property. We have got a buy-to-let property in Australian. The property has been rent out and has been paying itself. Over the 10 years period, the property price has increased significantly. 3. Hi all, I'm close to buying a property in Belfast, under a residential mortgage and having a family member living in the property. My plan is to come back and live in the property in the next 2/3 years, but anything could happen. The same with my family member, their circumstances could change, and they may not want to live there anymore.. so my question is has anyone done this before? And if I stayed overseas for longer than expected & my family member wanted to move.. what would be the case, could I rent to a 3rd party? It's 25% upfront with a 2.6% fixed 5 year rate on the mor
  4. Hello everyone, Hope you are all doing great! I have a question that's been on my mind for some time now and I am wondering if the Propertyhub community can answer my question or point me in the right direction. Here is the situation. My girlfriend and I are living in Spain. We have some money saved up and already own an investment property in Spain which we let through Airbnb. We want to invest in another property and are looking to invest in a buy-to-let in the UK. Now, I am aware there are special expat mortgages, but I am afraid those won't apply to me. I am Dutch
  5. Hi guys. While I have an Irish passport and am often in the UK for work, I live mostly in sunny South Africa. I have a couple buy-to-let properties in South Africa already, but very keen to start growing my UK portfolio (Edinburgh and Glasgow to be more specific). I have a UK bank account and I will have the 25% deposit required for the buy-to-let property. My concern is more about getting the mortgage for the remaining 75% without UK payslips, not being on the electoral roll, no national insurance number, etc. I was looking at a few options and would
  6. I am new to The Property Hub, and not so new to property investment. I bought my first property (in Spain) some 20 years ago and my last one (so far) in London a few months ago. Nowadays not only I invest in property, but I help others investing, developing and managing their properties in, mostly, the London area ... so happy to meet you all and I look forward to connect! Ah, and by the way, I happen to be in Hong Kong these days (to celebrate the Chinese New Year) so keen on meeting like-minded people interested in the UK property market. Talk to you soon. Alex
