  1. Hi, Does anyone know of a tool that displays price changes for properties for sale on Rightmove? A google search brings up some browser extensions, but links are dead. Wondering if there is a "go to" tool out there that people know of/use? I use Google Chrome but open to other browsers if such help exists. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi everyone, I am doing some general research on property prices in a particular street. On Zoopla I can find the previous sold prices of all properties. But is there a way to check the property details on Rightmove for properties that have been taken off the market? I know it is possible to view sold properties on Rightmove, but only if you already have the link before the sale has gone through. Is it possible to search "closed listings"? This would be helpful as I can then cross reference the price sold from Zoopla with the property deta
  3. Hmmm, I don't know how I've managed to be a landlord for over a decade without coming across this before, but.... For the first time, I have a flat that's been vacant for a month, and no one's expressed an interest in moving in yet. The agent hasn't had many enquiries, and I got a bit worried. Obviously, a month isn't very long, but I went to look at the flat (which I've not been in since I purchased it a year ago) and all looks good. I went onto Rightmove and looked at comparable properties to see if there was anything I could resolve that'd help the flat's appeal an
  4. Hi All, I'm trying to set up an RSS feed from rightmove.co.uk to send (via Zapier) to my new sparkly Trello board (as seen here). I can't find any RSS logo/icons anywhere on the pages. After a lot of googling I read you can simple take your search and add /rss after www.rightmove.co.uk and before the next bit e.g., http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/find.html?locationIdentifier=... to http://www.rightmove.co.uk/rss/property-for-sale/find.html?locationIdentifier=... except that doesn't work either. Does anyone know if righm
  5. Hi everyone, Long time absent but hope to me more 'present' over the coming months. I am wondering if anyone has had any particauly good or bad experiences with the online portals that allow you to list on RM/ZP without the need of a agent. Will soon have complected a refurb and looking to sell independently to add a more 'American' sale buzz about things and along with the potential savings in exchange for time - in essence; DIY the sale process ourselves. Would appreciate any thoughts/recommendations/words of warnings/advice on the subject...
  6. Hi, I wonder whether any forum members can direct me towards a service whereby I can advertise properties for sale on Rightmove (and maybe Zoopla etc) but in a very self service fashion. There are of course many internet based agencies that provide the ability to advertise on Rightmove etc but I would very much prefer: a self service portal with no or very low human input from the agent to slow things down (muck it up!) I have a professional property photographer contact so I prefer to do this independently I'm happy to arrange floorplans, EPC e
  7. I am looking at an HMO in Hull. The numbers look good - 11% net yield . The asking price is 180,000 but when I look at Rightmove / Streetchecker the highest ever sale on the street is 100,000. The agent says that the seller can provide a RICS approved valuation on request. I am not familiar with this method of valuation . Does anyone have advice . Charlie
  8. Tool that shows listing history for properties taken off the market? Hi guys, A great resource I have used which was recommended by Rob and Rob on The Property Podcast was Property Bee that shows on Rightmove (when using the Firefox browser) the history of live property listings. I've used the information to "keep estate agents honest" a few times around the time a property has been on the market and price changes. I notice that sites like Zoopla have archives which show when a property was last listed http://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-history/4-oxford-road/london/n4-3ha/27531561
