Remortgage own house to fund LTD SPV

Recommended Posts

I'm setting up a limited company to purchase a property which will be let out.  One of the options to fund the property purchase would be to remortgage my own home. Then make a loan to my limited company and document this. Then repay this back.

I presume one cant claim the interest on the remortgage against any company profit, thus bringing down corp tax?

Also does anyone have any good templates for a director to limited company loan?  To document the loan agreement..

Thanks Debbie, this is what I thought.  For me I think I will not charge interest and just do a simple company loan no interest, otherwise I'll have to keep on top of the CT61 form and then deduct income tax etc against the interest.
