Tiffany B
Hey everyone! I have a question regarding the property dreamline. Our situation is a little bit different to most.. we currently live in Dubai and our end goal is to live in Ibiza with a property portfolio in the UK and Ibiza. We originally created our dreamline in AED, with our current expenses....but we know that when we live in Ibiza our outgoings will be a lot different as it is simply a different way of life. SO, I recreated the dreamline in Euros, with some numbers from researching cost of living and asking friends that already live there. Now, my question is this: if owning a villa in Spain worth circa 1.5million is a goal - does this go as part of our Lifestyle Goals..or would it go into our property goals section? Link to comment

I believe the villa goes in property if it's mostly an investment, but in lifestyle if it's a purchase for your personal use only. Of course it could be both, but you can decide which is more appropriate for the dreamline calculations. If you plan to sell in a few years it would probably be under property goals. Link to comment
