Identifying right areas in Birmingham

Recommended Posts

My wife and I are planning to buy a property in B’ham in Q1 2020. We’ve been researching city centre and we haven’t found anything super interesting (there are loads of flats, but most with lease ~100y and high service charge), so we’ll target a house in the suburbs. We don’t know well B’ham beyond the city centre, so wondering if somebody could give us some recommendation for the most suitable neighbourhoods. Thanks!!

What we’re looking for:

- Good transport links

- As close as possible to city centre

- Attractive to professionals

- Doesn’t need to be the best place in the world, but should be considered safe, middle-upper class.

- Ideally, 2 or 3 bed houses in the region of 250-300k.

Hope we are not asking too much :). Thanks again!!
