I'm a tenant but my landlord thinks I'm a lodger

Hi I've lived in this flat since January and have never even met the landlord let alone live with him though he is claiming I'm a lodger so he can evict me with shorter notice dodging the covid 19 legislation. What can I do. The contract is called a lodgers agreement but he doesn't love in the building I live in Bristol he lives in London. Help

I see no one's replied to you yet. My guess is that if the contract you signed is called a lodger's agreement, then you're a lodger. Do you have an update on this? Have you sought legal advice?

Just because it says 'Lodger Agreement' does not make it so! If you have sole use of the entire property you have an AST regardless of what the LL says.
