Lease Extension - 48 years remaining....UPDATE

Morning all, 

Following my previous post with regards to extending a short lease, I have now agreed in principle terms with the freeholder (circa £22k premium and £150 p.a. ground rent).

Obviously I've spend time and money getting to where I am and this currently sits with my solicitor to agree the documentation.

Given the most recent announcement concerning reforms to the process, I'm wondering whether I would be better of waiting to see what these changes look like?

Does anyone know when these are likely to be announced or when they take effect? The premium offered includes marriage value of circa £11k and so if this no longer feature in the calculation i could potentially save thousands.
