Residential property transactions fell 52% post stamp duty holiday...

Recommended Posts

Talk about post-holiday blues.

October saw property transactions fall by 52% across the UK and Northern Ireland after the stamo duty holiday ended.

According to reports, this made for “the quietest October property market for almost a decade.”

But we don’t think this is much cause for concern.

We expected a decline once the stamp duty holiday ended, and all the other house price surveys indicate that the property market will continue to heat up regardless of this dip.
