Appreciate this is an old thread, but as a Newbie that is approaching my first two BTL's I have all the same questions.  To those a few years ahead of me including Dean, Rachel, Matt, Helen, Amustprop, Jules etc - how did all get on making your selections?  How is the accountancy experience today, two years down the road?  Feel free to DM your experience, as I appreciate that we all have specific requirements and so may not want to fully discuss over the forum.   A big thank you to those in the thread who replied and listed options to research, I will check them to start with.

Looks as if this is quite the hot topic, and a specific post might be of use in giving people options and feedback on selected accountancy firms based on requirements.

 

Im looking for a Ltd company running BTL and wondering what is the best option, to pick a accountancy fully managing all aspects required which is clearly property based is key for legislation and best tax advice, but then it's a cost issue as after all its a business so want to keep costs to a minimum but while getting the best service available.

 

some operate on Turnover of your company, some on number of assets held, and some just purely hourly based labour estimate split over the year.

 

Accountancy :-

Pearl accountancy

Rita 4 Rent

the accounting company are ones i have researched so far.

in terms of portfolio mgmt software, also tied into accountancy for uploading of receipts expenses etc yet to decide on and research further.

but yes any infomration would be nice even if its not public and via PM/DM
