This week on Ask Rob & Rob, Chris from Liverpool asked:
What questions should I ask at a property viewing?
Not an easy question to answer, but there are a few things to always think about, regardless of the property in question. First of all, you have to do your research beforehand, using the tools linked to below. Also be sure to find out about the seller’s circumstances – are they keen to sell, have they had trouble selling it in the past? Have there been other offers?
All of these questions will help build a picture of the property and the vendor, but don’t forget to take the answers with a pinch of salt – the agent is not on your side. If you’ve done your own research, there’s less chance of them pulling the wool over your eyes.
