ASK16:

How do I pitch a deal?

This week on Ask Rob & Rob, Alex from Berkshire asked:

How do I pitch a deal?

The answer touched upon a number of ways to pitch, one being to approach the person you want to pitch without a specific deal in mind, and talk to them about what they want, what’s important to then, and understand what they don’t like. Then you can come back to them with the perfect proposition for this person.

Also, be sure to follow up after you’ve made contact – don’t expect an answer upon initial contact, but stay in touch and make sure you keep track of what the situation is and you’ll be in with a good chance.
