  1. Thanks Rob and Rob for Liverpool podcast. Bought 2 houses in Liverpool in 2019 and spent some time up there refurbishing them. Lovely memories of the vibrant, musical city and the start of my property Journey. Loved listening and still learning about the the different areas of Liverpool to invest in.
  2. Yes, continued to try invest during the whole of last year...had 4 deals fall through but eventually ended up completing on 2 separate flats in April this year in the South East.
  3. It should be every 5 years and shouldn't need to redo for new tenant. But be careful, you need to check what your actual certificate says... some electricians are putting on their certificates 5 years or with change of tanancy, which means you would need a new one for change of tenancy. In which case you would need a new one. Advice is to change electrician.
  4. Jamie, sorry for delay, didn't realise you had replied... Yes based in Worthing... you too?
  5. Hi, I'm in the same position... not very helpful but would also appreciate advice. Thank you

Thanks Dennis and Derek for highlighting the need for formal agreement to include every possible event. I have included all bills in deal. I will put it to partner and negoiate from there. Thanks again. KN
  7. Hi, I've got a question about joint venture finance if anybody could help me? I'm buying a large flat to refurbish then sell. I am thinking of going in as a joint venture to help with finances. If i put in one third of the money and my partner puts in 2 thirds but I do most of the buying, refurb and selling, then we split the profit 50:50 does that sound reasonable to both of us (I would also be employing my husband for some of the work thus earning some income along the way)?
  8. Hi James, Not sure how useful I can be but happy to share ideas. I've a flat in Worthing but 2 houses up North too. Just had a 3 bed in Worthing fall through... learnt a lot. Looking to buy something else. Let me know if you want more info and I'll try to help. Also lived in Stoke Newington before moving down. Wish we'd hung on to that house now, but you live and learn!
