  1. I have a nice dilemma with my current situation I'm in the process of saving my first deposit and will have 30k by December. my sister's will be able to give me an additional 15k no interest to use as a contingency fund so I'm able to invest in a sub 100k in the preston area.my family have money saved every year as they are great savers and therefore are able to lend me money every year. I currently am able to save 15k every year with discipline on my own but feel pretty confident to raise another 15k from a family member. My question is what would be the best way to repay back the 15k each

  3. fellow hubbers i would like to ask you, if you had the chance to do it again with a reasonable savings pot of 30k and a time goal of 10 years, how would you play the game, what strategy would you play, how much risk would you take, would you play aggressive, which cities would you target, I'm interested in the response as I'm reaching this figure very shortly so would be cool to get an idea of every ones thoughts and ideas.
  4. iv not really bought my first but I'm lucky that I can aggressively save a minimum saving £1000 and sometimes more due to living at home and having a job which requires very little work so I just spend my hours educating so in essense I feel like I get paid to study! looking to work as an estate agent or something property related as I understand my market but want to be the go to person in my area. the idea will be to hopefully earn an additional income to plough into my savings. once I prove my model I will make sure my sisters get on board as there are great savers 1500-1700 a month but don
  5. hi i just like to ask the communities help on empty properties. im not sure what i need to do next if the owners address on the land registry is out of date and their no longer live there.. how can you trace the owner if their have sold the property stated in the land registry what do investors who have tried contacting the owner via the land registry done to overcome this problem?
  6. hi im close to the preston area out of interest which area did you invest in and are you happy to share numbers for your first successful bts project and to answer your question a 20% profit margin is what you should be looking for and dtv approaches, auctions, word of mouth, are some ways to find deals before anyone else.
  7. great start, it all begins with education podcasts and robs books are a great way for you to understand the game of property. watch all the courses of the property hub and define what you want property to do for you.
  8. im not too familiar with Manchester as i primarily focus in Preston, but i believe finding properties at around 80k in manchester is not as simple as it was a few years back especially. since prices have risen but there is still a huge amount of opportunity if you work around the 100k mark.
  9. hi im interested to hear what was your first btl purchase would you care to share the numbers on the deal
  10. hello adam congratulations with your first purchase or soon to be one do you currently have some goals for property and what you want property to do for you.
  11. r2r deals is a unique strategy, im interested to understand what made you decide R2R was for you
  12. hi is this house for investment purposes or for your own home purchase. you should be able to negotiate the price down as now you hold strong evidence to show that your overpaying.
  13. hi i would love to see if i can help . what do properties in edge hill typically go for and what would market rents for the area achieve
  14. theres other things you can do to help you minimise your risk to high interest rates, switching to a fixed rate for example, building high cash reserves.
