  1. HI All, I'm an Oxfordshire-based property investor with a few years of straight forward buy to let investment behind me. If you're interested in someone to help analyse your investment, I'm happy to help as I'm very comfortable with numbers. I'm keen to connect with folk you know are property sourcers in the area or simply those who are active investors who are happy to share their stories with this newbie. My aspiration is to get into purchase and refurbishment of HMOs in the Oxfordshire region but also properties in growth areas out of this region. All good wish
  2. Dear Property Hub Members, I would be grateful if someone could recommend a Manchester sourcing agent, suitable for sourcing a small apartment block, or property with multiple individual units, budget c. £800,000. Thank you A.O.
  3. Hi Everyone, I am a full time investor and landlord with a portfolio of HMO's in Luton & Bedford and single let's in Manchester. I even got a mention in the propertyhub magazine, thanks Rob and Rob! I am currently expanding my Manchester portfolio and am viewing dozens of properties within 20 mins walk the city centre and Salford Quays as well as some other key areas with good fundamentals. I work in a very systemised way, generating extensive data and building relationships with estate agents. I am always happy to chat with and help other

  5. Hello people, Ive been to some of these training seminars, that at the end of the session have the big up sell. one thing I have noticed is that trying to get where to source the property from or what property portals to use is like trying to get blood out of a stone, especially these 25% discounted properties these training schemes go on about. so do any people on here know where to source property other than the usual estate agents, rightmove, zoopla, auctions, gum tree............especially for the Nottingham / derby area. any help would be great, thanks
  6. Hi Guys A bit about me I am a 2016 science graduate who currently works in London and live in Berkshire, I am interested in the property industry and regularly watch the property podcast as well as property geek. I have also been reading property books however I am currently in the long tedious process of saving. I am interested in working in the property industry and would like to get some experience, I have looked at jobs that I would be eligible for but do not want to sacrifice my current comfortable salary and very flexible job. I can work from home and have flexible working h
  7. Hi all, I've been listening to the podcast for a long time and have heard a lot about sourcing. Im a estimator and quantity surveyor for a major house builder and soon to be chartered. I would like like to see if this could be something I could potentially do as a side line or something in the future. Whats required, what's expected, what successes have people had?
  8. Hi all, I'm currently teaching in Qatar with my wife. We are looking for sourcing agents in the Greater Manchester/ Liverpool area to buy and help redevelop HMO properties. We currently have a BTL property in Buckinghamshire and are looking to expand into the Northern Powerhouse. We will be back in London on 18th April to set up a limited company, but we can get lending as an expat currently. If anyone can help or pass on contact details of someone that can we'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance Mike and Sarah
  9. Can anyone recommend any outfits that can source a commercial property to be used as a dentist surgery in Glasgow area? Thanks
  10. Hi all, Can any of you recommend a property sourcing and refurb company that specialises in Birmingham? They can be one and the same or separate. I'm currently an expat, living and working in East Asia and am looking for an armchair investment in Birmingham. Many thanks in advance!
  11. Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a property to flip in Birmingham and was wondering if anyone else either flips or invests there? If so I wondered if they would be able to help me out with regards to areas to avoid, or potentially good areas to look at? By budget is really around the 100K - 120K mark and I am looking to make 20% profit at the end of the project. I am currently analysing the area and viewing properties in various locations but obviously it is a big place and this can be very time consuming so I am looking to try and speed up my next deal and be more efficient with my vi
  12. Hi everyone, We are Architect/Developers based in London. We are looking for land WITHOUT planning consent that we can develop together with the current owner. We are interested in either: 1) Doing a Joint Venture with the current owner and and splitting the uplift when we package it up and sell to a housebuilder. This would require independent valuation of the land in its current state. We would do the Planning App for free at our risk, and share the uplift 50/50 with the owner. 2) Entering into an Option Agreement to purchase the land subject to gaining planning consent. We would
  13. Hi All, I am currently living in London and looking for a property to flip in the Birmingham/Peterborough/Northampton area. Due to the distance and time required, I am looking for a sourcing agent to help find me a BMV deal. Does anyone have any recommendations of sourcing agents they have used in any of these areas? Thanks in advance Aaron
  14. Please could someone talk me through doing a deal with out using an agent. For example: I find a buyer via putting an add in a local shop. We both agree a price, then what happens/ needs to happen in order for the deal to be completed? Please could I have stages based on being a cash buyer and a mortgaged buyer? Thanks Paddy
  15. Hi there, I'm looking for a property sourcer in Sheffield. If you have any contacts or are yourself active in the Sheffield area, I'd love to hear from you. I'm looking primarily in S2 but also branching out into S13, S12. Many thanks, Anneka
  16. Hi Property Hub, I had a look on the site when it launched and am looking forward to joining the community now it's full steam ahead. I'm at the start of my property journey and I own one property in Newcastle and have bought one off plan from RMP (anyone heard of them? ;-). My goal is to buy two more properties by the end of the year in the North east with my 2 brothers as JV partners. Despite Rob and Rob saying "never invest in the north east" we're doing well on our first property and are confident about taking small steps. Ideally I'd like to meet people with experience in
