  1. Hi My name is Marie and I am new to investing and buying property. It is actually a scary thing but wanting and willing to take the jump. I feel quite old as I am seeing lots of really young people starting their journey. I have never owned a property and neither has my partner so everything is new. We have a broker that we have found and a solicitor that seems really good and my husband is an accountant, so I think we are set. We have some areas (further north) that we are looking at but we are unfamiliar with them as we are both Londoners. So any advice about areas to stay clear off wou
  2. Hello All, I was listening to one of the property podcasts the other day the episode released on Thursday 9th April 2020 TPP 369. At the end of the episode in hub extra Rob & Rob were talking about doing a personal audit on the information we consume. Now during time like we are facing now most of the stuff we can read can be very doom and gloom. Me personally I am quite a positive person and I am a big believer in what you listen to and read has an affect on your overall mood. The news is a big player in this and can really put a downer on your day, so I like to take everything with
  3. So I know that depending on your strategy and luck to some extent you can make it or break it in property. If I was to take a starting sum of £100k, and want to go for BTL properties, reinvesting any rental money and remortgaging when I can, what is a rough estimate of timeline if I am aiming for passive income, say £1000 pm, £2000 pm and £5000 pm? Are we talking 2 years? 5 years? 25 years? Anyone with an idea of targets and timelines and more experience than me would be good to hear from. Thanks

  5. Just wondering along with the normal zoopla and rightmove etc apps, what are the best apps people have found for property? In terms of education? sourcing? law? tenants, tradesman or even property games? Looking for some other ways to better my education from my smartphone. cheers Phil
  6. Hello all! Unfortunately Kirsti and I have been put in a situation which could be a good starting point for us or a risky time. Kirsti has been made redundant at work and we've been looking how to start our property journey properly. So we were wondering do I pack up my job on the south coast and sell my house (80-90k equity) and just dive straight in move further up north as we're not bothered where we live buy a house outright do it up to the remortgage and rent out and then continue like that until we have enough money coming in to get our own mortgage to live somew
