Hi There Fellow Landlords, i’m looking for some advice. My landlord insurance is up for new renewal. Two of my properties will require building insurance and a further two do not require a building insurance so cover will only be for damage etc etc. I would like if possible to put all my properties on one insurance policy. I would appreciate any advice that people have to offer from their own experiences. Is it worth insuring the two properties that do not require building insurance (building insurance is handled by the management company) what are the pitfalls if I do not? Thank you
I am a totally new to Property Investment and have been offered the opportunity to start an HMO. I know many people that have started one as their first property and are doing fine, so they say! I know what the Robs say about them and, even though they fit with where I want to end up, goal-wise, I am not sure its wise to start with the strategy. Anyone have any experience of an HMO as a first property?
Hi Everyone! My name is Jacqueline and I am new to the property world. I have no experience with property but am currently educating myself and trying to gain as much knowledge as I can before making my first deal. Me and my business partner are looking to invest in Birmingham at the moment. Our focus is BMV multi-lets, starting at 3 or 4 bedrooms as it will be our first property. BUT firstly we are trying to get our funding together before anything. This is my current situation! Hopefully I will be updating it before June to I GOT MY FIRST PROPERTY! Has anyone got any advice in particular about investing somewhere far from where you live. I am based in London but looking for property in Birmingham as it is more affordable for our first property and is in strong rental demand for room lets. Any advice would be helpful. Thank guys! Looking forward to being part of the community.
