Hi all, I am currently setting up my limited company in preparation for my first investment. I have done some research into SIC codes and it seems 68209 is suitable for my strategy which is to buy and hold. However, is there any harm in adding 68100 also as depending on future markets, I may need to sell my properties. I’ve heard it can impact lending to have multiple SIC codes and I will be dependent on BTL mortgages. Also if anyone can recommend a financial advisor and mortgage broker specialising in BTL it would be much appreciated. I am struggling to find any BTL specialists loc

Hi, I own a limited company which is no longer being used. I want to take the money in this business and transfer it to a new company for property investment, and then close the original company. I have already paid corporation tax on the money in the original business. Is there additional tax to pay when I transfer it to the new company? Or can I just transfer all of it without being taxed? Thanks, Emily

Hello all, I am looking for a well respected and referenced mortgage broker that deals with Ltd Company mortgages. Ideally, if you are based in Liverpool great, however the North West is fine too. My partner and I have been to see an accountant today and have been told given our financial situation, we should use a Ltd Company for our BTL's going forward. Also, does anybody know what SIC code I would have to register the company under in order to gain finance? Thanks in advance Alan
