Is it ok to have a boiler in the bedroom?

Recommended Posts

Your boiler must be room sealed. That is it takes the air for the gas combustion from the outside air.

If the boiler is old, it may need replacing.

It's not ideal, but not agaisnt any gas safe regs that I know of.

Ask a gas safe engineer (I'm not one) for their opinion. If the property has a CP12 already (landlord gas safety certificate) then it's probably ok.

If not...get an engineer round to give you a more regulated opinion.

How this helps

(I know CP12 is not its official name, but I'm abit old school.and still refer to these by their old Corgi name..sorry)
