How do I structure silent partner deal?

Hi All

I would love some advice around how to structure a deal with a silent partner.

We have found a potential property project and a silent partner is contributing around 50% of the deal value in cash. He is purely contributing cash to the deal, not working on it at all.

How would you structure such a deal? Would he receive 50% of the profit? How do we recompense ourselves for the time spent seraching for the deal and making it happen? We want to be completely fair to all involved in the project.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
