We’re all about being nice on this show, so we couldn’t resist finishing off our business series by interviewing Peter Shankman – the author of “Nice Companies Finish First”.
Peter started in business by selling funny t-shirts in Times Square. Which indirectly lead him to founding Help A Reporter Out – which he later sold for tens of millions of dollars.
His original intention, though, wasn’t to make millions – he started the service just to help some friends. Peter believes that companies and individuals can thrive by adopting the same ethos, So we spoke to him to find out how helping others can be the best way to get what you want.
Tune into this week’s podcast to find out what we learnt.
